Our Mission
At Tour Chicago we combine history, food, and Chicago's neighborhood culture to offer personal tour experiences that are more fun, more local and show off more of the city that we know and love! We proudly partner with family-run, local establishments because we believe in ethical and responsible tourism and are passionate about supporting local business, while helping our guests feel at home. We work hard, we demand excellence of ourselves and those we work with, and we take a keen interest in the professional development of the people on our team. Our Values
Passion. We are locals who share our love of Chicago through engaging stories. Our guides care about the information, restaurants and neighborhoods and authentically convey that passion in each tour.

Below are the positions we currently have available. Having said that, we are always looking to hear from smart, motivated people who would love to work for a young, vibrant and ambitious company like Tour Chicago. We’re currently hiring for the following positions:
Food Tour Guides
Do you love Chicago? Do you love Chicago food? Can you command a crowd; make them listen and make them laugh? Then you might be a perfect candidate for a job as a food tour guide with Tour Chicago.
You need to make a great first impression, be a fantastic storyteller, have an infectious sense of humor, be adept at thinking quickly on your feet, be responsible, detail-oriented and be empathetic and highly sensitive to people’s backgrounds, cultures, and differences. We want people who are passionate about Chicago and this city's cuisine, and who know how to communicate that passion to others and make them excited about it too.

Applicants must…
Be a quick learner
Have a high level of English (knowledge of a language other than English not required, but a plus)
Be eligible to work in the United States
Have lived in Chicago for at least one year
Have a working smartphone for purposes of scheduling and communication
Have access to internet at home and check email at least once a day; and
Be available for monthly team meetings and periodic (fun!) training sessions.
